About North Indian Music

North Indian Music (NIM), an organisation based in Melbourne ( Australia ) aims to bring the finest
experience of Indian classical music to audiences worldwide. We are dedicated to promoting and
cultivating an appreciation and understanding of this profound musical phenomenon.

In recent years, a number of highly acclaimed Indian classical musicians have been invited by NIM to
perform in concerts in Perth , Melbourne , Brisbane , Sydney and Auckland . Needless to say, each and
every performance has been par excellent.

This is the first in a series of live concerts, which has been recorded on high quality video and audio in
DVD format for worldwide distribution.

It features two of the greatest artists in Indian classical music - Ustad Shahid Parvez (on sitar) & Pandit
Anindo Chatterjee (on tabla).
